Legionella Control Association
The Legionella Control Association (formerly the UK's Code of Conduct Association) is a scheme for service providers involved in the supply of goods and services relating to the control of legionella bacteria in water systems.
The Code of Conduct was introduced in 1999 and has been put together by a working party drawn from the British Association for Chemical Specialities and the Water Management Society in close consultation with the Health and Safety Executive. It is referred to in the HSE document L8 "Legionnaires' Disease, The control of legionella bacteria in water systems: Approved Code of Practice and Guidance
